Alabama will be hosting top priority guard in the 2021 class JerDarrian (JD) Davison this weekend for an official visit, per sources. I expect the Tide to roll out the red carpet for the in-state star. Davison is a freakish athlete with a lot of room to grow in his game but has the potential to be elite at the next level with some polishing and a continually improving jumper. He is someone who will always be explosive at the rim and has the potential to be an elite defender. Davison is unique in the way that even though he is normally the best player on his team, he always makes the right play for his teammates. He is a gifted playmaker and is one of the most unselfish players I have seen. It's hard to find stars who have a knack for being unselfish. Davison brings that to the table and will also be a star in Nate Oats' fast-paced style of play. He is an absolute game-changer in transition. It’s easy to see why Oats and company have already began to prioritize Davison. Davison is also being pursued hard by Auburn, Memphis, Ole Miss, and many others.
I have also been told that 2021 in-state forward Keyshawn Murphy will be visiting this weekend as well. Murphy is a long athlete who has potential to be a solid scorer around the rim as well as a plus defender. With some polishing he has the potential to be a good fit in a system like Nate Oats’. The staff has made sure Murphy is aware that he is a key piece to the 2021 class.
Five-star 2022 wing Brandon Miller will also be on an unofficial visit this weekend. Elite player. Will update if anymore visitors are confirmed.
